4 Great product (as advertised), But the price could be better... Posted by Eric Anthony on Jan 17th 2024 The Birchwood Casey Gun Scrubber Wipes work as intended, & as the product description states - it helps degrease things such as anti-seize, machining grease, etc. - all w/o daming your firearm finish (hardcoat anodizing, nitride, etc.). After cleaning (depending on how much of the wipe you used when scrubbing), it takes a fair bit to air dry. Sometimes, it's just better for your to take a dry microfibre cloth/fabric to finish drying it quickly. It compares to using 99% Isopropyl alchohol or Hoppe's No. 9 when degreasing. Great product. ... But there's only one issue - THE PRICE $15.99 + $5.00 shipping/tax = (Grand Total) $20.99 Twenty dollars for only twelve (12) wipes? Should at least be 24 wipes for that price. (Minus one star for price-to-quantity ratio alone) Would like to see the price come down, or the quanity of wipes within ea. single unit go up double. If you ask, I'd say just buy at a discount on another website.
