    Tru-Oil

I use Tru-Oil on gun stocks, but also on other wood such as my wife’s dulcimer music stand. Like a gun stock her music stand takes a beating out in the elements. Tru-Oil gives it a beautiful finish. She loves how it looks and protects it.
Now I have an old Model 33 .22 rifle with a pristine, but needing some new finish stock, to do. I use it on all my guns. I love it.

Best in the market. Have used it for 20 years to finish our violins.
    Always good.

    TruOil

I've been using TruOil as a finish on fine woodwork for 50 years, and as a guitar finish for the last 20 years. It is one of the few oil varnishes still on the market, and I'll continue to use it as long as I can get it.

    Tru Oil

Easy to use. The first couple of coats will look worse. Don't panic! First 2 coats I went 50/50 Tru oil/mineral spirits Just let each coat dry, rub down with 600+ wet or dry sandpaper, or 00 steel wool. I used I used Behlen Rottenstone to rub out each coat. It works great! Finish with 4 or more full strength coats. Use your finger to apply. Rub into wood, do not apply overly thick coat. Love to see a Birch wood Casy you tube using product.
