I watch the 'My Mechanics' restoration videos on youtube and he either blues with heat and quench or cold blue. In a separate blueing video - he demonstrates Birchwood Casey liquid blue. I fully, in good conscience, recommend Super Blue to anyone wishing to make a 42yr. old firearm look great as I did.
